Clothing should support the character without covering the features that create likeness.
Xiaoqi's flight cap could flatten his forehead tuft. The goggles could hide the eyebrows. A high scarf could crowd the beard.
In the preview, the goggles sit above the forehead, the ears remain visible and the scarf falls to one side. These choices protect the cues that make Xiaoqi recognisable.
Understand what a concept preview can prove
A concept preview helps the owner and maker discuss the intended outfit, visible markings and overall balance.
