The first design followed the preferences and story her owner shared. It looked plausible, but it did not yet feel like their Superman. Instead of forcing the idea forward, we used the preview to make the next conversation more specific.
The real photos decide what must stay recognisable
Before any outfit, the design has to preserve Superman's face: her very large round eyes, pink nose, warm orange markings and the white line through the centre of her forehead. One photo shows the expression directly. Other angles explain the cheeks, ears and profile that a single image can flatten.

The first preview was a question
An AI concept preview can answer practical questions quickly: Does this colour suit her face? Should the silhouette feel scholarly, theatrical or playful? Does the outfit amplify the pet's personality or cover it up? It gives the owner something concrete to react to before materials are cut and handwork begins.
For Superman, the value of the first preview was the response it unlocked: not this version, but closer. That is useful information. A custom piece should not depend on the owner finding perfect design language on the first try.
Trying more than one look made the story clearer
Superman tried on several possibilities on screen. The cream look felt polished. The candy-covered wizard was playful. The pirate was full of character. Each one could have become a charming object, but the point of custom work was not to choose the most impressive image. It was to find the version that connected Superman with her owner's own story.
Because every choice was visible, the owner could respond to something concrete: keep the sense of magic, leave the sweeter fantasy direction behind, bring in the books and films they loved, and keep Superman's expression at the centre.

The answer was not simply ‘make a Harry Potter cat’. The owner loved the novels and films, and the character needed to hold that affection while still feeling unmistakably like Superman. Next, the artist team will turn the direction into an object
The approved preview is the end of the visual decision stage, not the finished product. Holdable's artist team will now refine the face, proportions, materials and construction. This is where an image begins becoming an object. The artists interpret the real pet photos, work out how textile layers will sit at a small scale and adjust details that may look convincing on screen but cannot simply be copied into cloth.
• The pet photos guide facial markings, eye placement, ear shape and expression.
• The approved wizard preview guides the overall silhouette, palette and character idea.
• The artists decide how to translate those cues into fabric, fibre, stitching and structure.
